- When I'm not coaching paddlesports, I'm probably working for BCU UK Coaching! I'm one of the National Trainers and involved with rolling out the new coaching scheme and Performance awards, I'm also an Approvals Officer working with BCU Approved Centres. I coach paddlesports and deliver and assess paddlesport coach education courses. I'm very lucky that I've been coaching and paddling in some awesome locations around the world - Canada, Finland, New Zealand, Panama, Florida, California, New York, Oregon, Washington, Grand Canyon, Sakhalin - Eastern Russia, French Alps, Ardeche, Baja- Mexico - hopefully that list will continue to grow! I studied Sports at the University of Wolverhampton, where I got BSc Hons, and continued to work there part time as a visiting lecturer in Outdoor Education and Leadership. I contributed two chapters to BCU Coaching Handbook as well as a small contribution to Canoe and Kayak Games. I've also had articles published in Canoe Focus and Canoe and Kayak Magazine.
